Home Alone

I love my parents, and I love having my mom come to visit occasionally. But it sure is nice to have both of them settled back in THEIR HOME so I can come home cuddle up with my hubby and rest a while!

Daddy is fine for now. I'm too tired for words. I have one day to rest, clean the kitchen and do laundry, then we have 2 doctors appointments back to back (2pm and 3:40pm) on Monday. I know it's early, but I'm going to bed with my rice filled bed buddy for my cold tired feet and watch tv.

Blessings y'all! Becky

Praying for you all during these trying days. Praying right now that you sleep deeply tonight.

My Mom left this world Dec.1,1999. That takes me back to a place I don't even want to go. With her passing I have gotten so much closer to my Dad. He lives right in front of me so I see him daily. He is 79 yrs young and up until the past yr. he has been able to do anything a 30 yr old could do. He retired from the coal mines many yrs back. Hard work that has hard consequences later on. First he had to go on oxygen 24/7, takes breathing treatments every 6 hrs. He had a heart attack Jan.08, they put in 2 stents. Two weeks ago he had surgery for what they said was a tumor in the bladder. He came home with a cath. and as of right now he is ok. The test returned no cancer. Thank God. My Sister lives a few miles from here so we work as a team, and everyday I thank God for her. I know you are tired and your Dad is probably cranky, but really watch the fluid build up. My Dad doesn't want to "bother" us, and I told him I could never repay him for everything he had done for me. For that reason I can smile. God knows what we need even before we ask, so when you are ready to drop to the floor remember where our strength comes from, look up and thank Him. Your Dad is lucky to have you. We spend lots of days at the hospital, not fun but needful. God bless.

Hey friend...I know how you feel..I love my family visiting and staying with us but when they all leave and it is just me & Bill again it is sooooo nice! I pray that your dad heals quickly and that you get some rest! You are a giver like me and when family is involved we give all our time and love and energy to them and we never realize how exhausted we are until we are home and alone again.

Thanks so much for coming by to check on me girl...it is so good to have the computer back up & running...take care and have a great week.
