Pink Saturday Sounds Like Fun!!!

And I know it's not Saturday yet, but I just couldn't wait to join in the fun over at Beverly's BLOG! For some time now she's been sharing something pink on Saturdays and I decided to join in today.

For my first pink picture to share, all I had to do was look out the window and see that it's dreary and raining and cold outside, so I wanted something that would be bright and cheery and share a peek of what's to come in just a few months!

This is a picture of the blooms on my pink knock-out rose that my Dad gave me almost 2 years ago. In fact, this picture was taken on April 28th, 2007. That rose bush has grown and, while I've kept it trimmed nicely, is much more beautiful than the day I planted it! And I know that, although it's cold and damp and rainy today, it's not long until the days will be getting longer and the temps warmer and before long my flowers and trees will be budding out and sharing their joy with me.

Have a gorgeously pink Saturday, friends! Blessngs, Becky

Welcome to your first Pink Saturday, Becky. I am so glad you decided to participate.

Your rose is beautiful, and I guess you can tell I am a lover of roses. I see that we both love camellias, too.

Becky - thanks so much for visiting me on Pink Saturday. Your roses are beautiful! We've had a drought for the past 18-month in south Texas, so my roses... not so good recently.

I love people that love poodles.. I know we're probably a little odd living in the country, farming and having poodles as pets.. but hey.. if you've ever had a poodle... you know exactly what I mean don't you!

I look forward to reading your blog... come and visit me in French Lique any time!

Happy Pink Saturday! Dixie
