Thanksgiving Day Grace

My friend Teresa in Maryland e-mailed me this beautiful poem, and I thought I would share it with you.

Our Father, fill our hearts, we pray,
With gratitude Thanksgiving Day;
For food and raiment Thou dost give,
That we in comfort here may live.

With bread of life our spirits feed
And grant to us the grace we need,
Guide Thou our feet lest they should stray
From paths of righteousness away.

True service may we render Thee
In love and deep humility;
Deliver us from every sin,
In His dear name we ask. Amen.

Luther B. Cross

Blessings friends! Becky

Awww Becky... I think this is such a beautiful prayer! Love the antique print you posted with it! After I sent this to her.. My Sister made a framed copy of this for me in spencerian script & she read this before our Thanksgiving dinner. She is such a thoughtful & loving Sister. I hope you & Wayne had a Wonderful Thanksgiving on your getaway! God Bless you both Dear Friend!! With Love ~ Teresa
